My Story
I grew up in a home where God was discussed — but I was told He didn’t exist. My father was a philosophy professor who, when I asked him what happens when we die, looked at me with all seriousness and said, “Your body dies, you’re buried, and the worms eat you. You no longer exist.”
I was four years old. And I decided he was wrong.
That quiet knowing led me on a search that took decades. I tried church after church. I asked questions no one could answer. I carried a Gideon Bible I couldn’t understand. And then at twenty-three I came face to face with Jesus and said “Yes” with everything I had.
From 2008 I began learning to recognize and respond to God’s voice in my everyday life — stopping for people on the streets, praying for strangers, and watching God move. Miracles. Salvations. Healings. There were over a thousand stories in a single year. As a mum of two young children I wrote as many as I could, blogging them in obedience, anonymously, online. Those became my God Is Good Stories — real testimonies of His goodness that you can still read today on this site.
In 2011 God called me to write books. In 2020 I laid down my law practice, got serious about writing, founded Verve Ministries, and stepped into full time ministry. That “Yes” was the culmination of a journey already long underway.
I founded Verve Ministries and created Prophetic Mastery — a weekly international mentorship program equipping believers to hear God’s voice clearly and step boldly into their Kingdom calling.
Over the years hundreds of thousands of people have read my God Is Good Stories — real testimonies of His goodness in everyday life — and through those stories have been inspired and equipped to stop for the one in their own everyday lives, impacting their regions for God. Tens of thousands have signed up for free trainings and live intensives, and many more have engaged with my teachings and resources online. My heart is the same in every context: helping people encounter God, recognize His voice, and carry His love into the world around them.
My journey as a lay person who walked this out in everyday life — learning from both failures and successes — uniquely equips me to train and mentor both lay people and ministry professionals with equal effectiveness. I know what it is to step out in faith on the streets, in the supermarket, and at the school gate, and I know how to help others do the same.
I am an internationally accredited trainer with Prophetic Company Global, a member of the Bethel Leaders Network, and the author of I Am God’s Happy Place, with a foreword by Dr. James W. Goll. I have been personally mentored by Dr. Goll and served as a facilitator in his Mentoring with James program. My reach has grown primarily through online ministry, free teachings, and the God Is Good Stories that have circled the globe.
My husband Andrew and I are based in Melbourne, Australia. Our ministry reaches people in every timezone.
