I heard it loud and clear,

“There is now nothing left to do but to step into the new.”

While this might sound straight forward, and I encourage you, it is; it will however, require you to tie up loose ends, cull the extra, and allow old seasons to fall away.

This does not mean we walk away from responsibilities, or from commitments made, but it does mean that you fulfil promises made, honouring as you step away. Love the people, complete the tasks, and finish projects, and while doing so, step purposefully into the new.

Take the next step you know to do, and yet be sure to not rush forwards.  For in this season, there will be a gentle ebb and flow in the spirit. With each flow, surge forward in ease as the Lord bids, and then rest in the ebb that will follow. With every flow, know its time to go, and with each ebb, ensure that you rest.

It’s a time of joy, discovery, and further understanding of the new; but with each ebb be sure to rest knowing the next flow will surely come.

Now many may not be sure what the new yet looks like. Please don’t panic. I have been aware of the new coming since 2020 (even before) and this I know, the full plans and purposes will not be apparent immediately.  Rather, there will be process in the time of revelation, and a stepping stone of transition that requires you to be still to listen for the voice of the Lord.

Listen for the sound of his bidding, take the next step, knowing he desires relationship over performance, your presence and time together, over notches of conquer on your belt.

And so, there is nothing left to do, but step into the new, as you tie up loose ends, and cull all that is extraneous to his purposes.

💫”See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” – Isaiah 43:19
