Rest in Him positions you for what is yet to come. I hear the words, “Beware the vortex of busyness.”

We can all too easily step into rolls and places where God has not called us. We do this for many reasons: we want to be seen; our desire to please; or there is just a need that others want us to fill. Striving and activity for the sake of activity will exhaust.

Our “no” right now is just as powerful as our “yes.”

In this season of open doors, be aware that we should not walk through some doors, while others are there, simply to distract and tire.

Look at your prophetic words and to what God has been speaking to you about. Seek an understanding of your destiny, your place and sphere of influence, even spiritual metron, and then check the timing of a matter.

While it might seem you may miss some opportunities, remember it is from the place of rest that we effectively step into the fullness of our calling. We are never called to step into Kingdom work from the place of exhaustion and striving.

God is calling us back into His arms, where we wait and listen to the heartbeat of heaven. We listen to the sound of the Kingdom clock, and we then go forth in His timing.

It does not mean we do not have full days, nor does it mean we do not stretch (for we all stretch as we grow into the fullness of our stature). Rather, it means we will have a knowing that all is well with our souls as we step into that which God is calling us into on this day.

True rest in Him will position us all for what is yet to come.
