I thought about the following as I listened to Isi de Gersigny on times/time frames/reframing time.
I don’t post because I need healing in my past so those that carry a mercy gift, do not feel a need to encourage nor heal me. I know Jesus is there.
Rather, I post my thoughts about it in response to all those that come to me saying they must heal their past before they can [fill in the blank]. I post in response to the various teachings I have heard over the years that talk about wounds in our time lines. I had thoughts that perhaps we need to reframe those thoughts, and look again.
I think upon the books and television shows that show doorways between times, and through those doorways in times, there are new worlds. Each point of entry is often, in books and films, seen as a schism in time. However, that very schism in time is a doorway to promise. Those that want to abide by rules become frightened by the schism and wish to close the tears in time and space. BUT, through those tears in time is another world that brings adventure and often growth accompanied by healing.
There is so often the idea that a schism in time must be healed, fixed, sewn shut. It must be closed. We must neaten the story somehow, sanitise our history, as if it were somehow less than because it is messy.
Let me suggest to you, instead of healing or closing it shut (because most *will* react that it needs healing, if its not a neat time line through life) that we could instead see t as an invitation through. Indeed, we could see it, as I know I do, as an invitation into a new world, a new conversation around those places of pain, hurt, recovery.
Indeed the schisms in life, those places of pain, and even those places of joy and encounter (for I believe it is both) create exceptional doorways into greater realities, and are an invitation to step through into Kingdom realities.
Through the schism, we see the New World that is at hand. Each hurt, each heartbreak, and even each joyous moment, is an invitation to view the New World that is Kingdom from the perspective of Jesus. As you step through the schism, you melt forwards into the arms of the Father. As you move into those moments in time, time stands still and is no more, for you are placed in Heavenly places where time no longer exists.
We can walk through those rips in time, see, hear, taste, feel and know that He is Love, and as you do so you will see that even the schisms that hurt are an invitation to see Him in greater and more wondrous ways.
Indeed the schism becomes the curtain that was torn in the Temple, so very long ago. Ripped from top to floor, we gained access to the One Glorious to behold, into a place where He abides always within, around, above and below, evermore.
These are just thoughts, as I listened, and pondered the concept that our past somehow needs redeeming, when even in the tears, through the tear… He is there.
